Wedding Rings

Make your own weddings rings!

I’m proud to announce this new experience is available now in Melbourne’s east.

With nearly thirty years experience as a jeweller (and many years experience teaching jewellery) I’d be pleased to welcome you to my jewellery workshop. The first step in this process is to meet and work together to design your rings – there are many different ‘looks’ achievable.

We will then schedule time in my workshop to make them. Over the course of one or two afternoons in the workshop, I will teach you the skills needed to make the rings, guiding you every step of the way until they are perfectly complete.

Make wedding rings: It starts with an idea, and ends with two hand-made wedding bands! No prior experience making jewellery is necessary.

Just to give some idea of where we are, my workshop is 40 minutes from Melbourne’s CBD, or if you are combining your experience with a Yarra Valley stay, we are 30 minutes from Healesville’s town centre. make wedding rings

We really enjoyed the 2 afternoons spent making our wedding rings at Jane’s workshop. Jane is an excellent teacher, who helped us out a lot along the way. Jane has a great set up and it was good having private tuition so we could regularly ask questions along the way. We were able to take regular breaks, where Jane provided refreshments (tea and biscuits) which kept our energy levels high. She helped us out a lot with the finishing touches, and organised the rhodium plating and the engraving of the rings. The rings turned out beautifully, and I have received many compliments on my ring, as it looks really good and fits well next to my engagement ring.

It was very special for us as a couple to make each other’s wedding rings, and learning the process was so interesting – it makes you appreciate jewellery a lot more, knowing the effort that has gone into each small piece of jewellery.

I would definitely recommend the “Make your own Wedding Rings” course.
